Lifestyle Photography Session
The client forfeits their deposit paid to book the session. As previously stated, the fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by e-mailing Creative Expressions at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the date of the session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.
Event/Special Occasion Photography
If for any reason the client cancels before the event’s date, Creative Expressions will keep the event 50% deposit fee paid to hold the occasion or event date as the cancellation fee. The cancellation must be made in sent in writing, by mail, or e-mail. However, if the client requires to change the event date, we will do our best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within six (6) months of the original event date. If we are not available for the new date, the original contract will be canceled and subject to the cancellation policy.
Customer's Notice of Cancellation
If notice of cancellation is given less than two (2) business days before the shoot date, Client will be charged 100 percent fee. Postponements: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Client will be charged a 100 percent fee if postponement of the assignment occurs after the photographer has departed for location, and 50 percent fee if postponement occurs before departure to location. Fees for cancellations and postponements will apply irrespective of the reasons for them, specifically including but not limited to weather conditions, acts of God, nature, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, and the fault of a third party.
Photographer's Notice of Cancellation
If the photographer cannot perform their duties due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the photographer’s illness or emergency, then Creative Expressions shall return the retainer fee to the client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract.
This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.
